United Airlines Syncs With Apple Health App To Verify Vaccine Status

United Airlines is now integrated with the Apple Health app in iOS 15 to help travelers securely upload COVID-19 vaccination records on their iPhone and validate vaccine status ahead of future travel.

United Airlines Partners With Apple Health To Streamline Vaccine Verification

Passengers with verifiable COVID-19 vaccination records stored in the Apple Health app can now upload those records to United’s Travel-Ready Center. These vaccination records use SMART Health Cards format so they can be reviewed instantly on the United platform with no additional reviews needed – helping customers quickly confirm they’ve met the vaccination requirements needed for their travel plans.

Previously, all documents uploaded to the United app, including vaccine cards (digital screenshots or paper cards), had to be manually verified before an itinerary was marked, “Ready to fly.”

With iOS 15, iPhone users can securely store verifiable versions of their COVID-19 test results and immunization records in the Health app on iPhone. Apple also recently announced that with an upcoming software update, users will also be able to add and present verifiable COVID-19 vaccination information as a vaccination card in Apple Wallet.

How Does It Work?

  • Passengers with upcoming travel requiring proof of vaccination can visit the Travel-Ready Center on United’s iOS app
  • Passengers can select the option to upload vaccine documentation
  • Passengers can then click on “Upload” then “Share your SMART Health Card”
  • The Apple Health app will automatically open and ask customers for permission to share their verifiable vaccination records with United
  • Once confirmed, the vaccination records will automatically be uploaded, verified on United’s system and records will be stored until travel is complete.

One frustration I’ve had with United’s Travel Ready Center is that I have had to upload my vaccination card three different times. That’s tedious and I far prefer this new solution which will not only cut my efforts but lead to instant verification.

CONCLUSION

United Airlines now parters with Apple to directly verify your vaccine status. While you can still bring your physical card to the airport for manual verification, the new Travel Ready Center can save you time and hassle by taking care of the paperwork before you even check in for your flight.

Meanwhile in Florida the flu is above over with. While we lost a few senior citizens a year or 2 earlier than they would have left us, overall the state’s decisions worked. Most of us never changed our lives or lost our freedoms. Mask wearers were looked at as either sick or anti Vaxxers and people to avoid.

No clue why anyone who doesn’t have to would leave this great country to visit places where they hate us and are jealous of us. And YES there are a large amounts of Americans who feel exactly as I do.

Meanwhile, for those non-Newsmax slurpers out there, ~15,000 more Floridians died in August/September due to Covid (whereas the same amount died Jan-Jul).

So a liberal university like USF is lying? Since it’s a conservative state you should be celebrating UA. You hate those who disagree with you and are happy when they die and can’t vote, right?

As I’ve said before, many of us think you are the biggest piece of human garbage there is living in your cockroach infested city. And we know you feel the same about.

Just seeing how happy you were yesterday when it came out Justice Kav got the Vid again shows why everything you push is BS. You hate conservatives because they make you see the mess you made of your life .

Apparently your reading skillz aren’t so good – death rate in FL last two months 3.5X that vs. the first 7 months of the year. No big effing deal though according to you!

          Piss off.

Hahaha Florida. The undisputed scrotum of America. I think we should sell it back to the Spanish. Or better yet Mexico. Or we should make it our penal colony. One that we could carpet bomb.

“we lost a few senior citizens a year or 2 earlier than they would have left us…” Wow, what a callous statement – I think we are up to 700K Americans dead from this already. As for the senior citizens, yeah – I lost a close one in 2020, but I guess using your convoluted “logic” it was their “time.”

“And YES there are a large amounts of Americans who feel exactly as I do. ” Who cares? There’s large amounts of Americans (bad English, by the way) who do NOT feel exactly as ignorant as you do.

If I was a rude person, I’d wish a slow painful experience of COVID on you, but I don’t want to add another anti-vaxxer to the hospital ward, so I wish you well instead.

Actually I’m vaxxed, but I feel it’s personal choice. As for you, I DO hope you slip and fall in a puddle of AIDS.

And 99% of the deaths were people who were drains on society, that’s a fact. You people want to save Social Security don’t you? This was a good start toward what liberals are trying to do, right?

As for your other statement, that’s why we have an election coming up again next year. And the liberals will be crying when they realize listening to trash like AOC and her pals wasn’t as good idea.

Now go back to showing your papers to buy a beer clown.

Not sure how it digressed to discussions about liberals and AOC (a minor player in Congress, no less, but apparently a threat to the conservative psyche – kind of like George Soros and other bogey men), but appreciate you wishing me harm. I’m not a liberal, by the way….not that it matters.

31 years in the military with two wars – I guess I supported all this free speech. I do find sad humor in those who are so big on their “personal freedom rights” but don’t care about others around them. Started with the whole “if you’re scared, stay home but don’t stop me from going to have a beer” mentality; meanwhile, those of us who suffer from a disability which is highly susceptible to COVID are just destined to die for the cause of freedom or something like that. As you said, 99% of those who died were just drains on society – yeah, right.

          Stay safe out there….

WTF does that mean? Stay safe? Is that a threat? Otherwise it makes no sense.

As for your thoughts on AOC and Soros, really? Soros has money and uses it to change America in his vision. Look at the mess Philly s because of his handpicked DA. He found a back door to get what he wanted. As for AOC, her and her pals are why we didn’t get a bipartisan bill that made sense for many Americans and would have created much needed infrastructure repairs. With how divided Congress is, a few fringe fanatics can make a difference.

Vaccines and masks are political. Dems didn’t trust it when Trump pushed it, the right doesn’t want it because it’s Biden pushing it.

But “Thanks for your service”. Obviously spending 31 years in the military was a good financial decision for you. And it doesn’t change that most of those dying while having Vid (not from it alone) were collecting instead of contributing to society. And certainly doesn’t justify people not living their own lives because someone is at a higher risk of catching it. They do have a choice to stay inside and order delivery.

Good thing smart people avoid this terrible vaccine. So, we don’t have to worry about ‘connecting it to some app’

    😀
